- Publishing the same blog post under two categories as two URLs with identical body
When canonicals are not your problem
- Rankings are weak because content is thin. Write better product pages first.
- The site is not indexed at all. Fix Search Console setup before canonical theory.
- You have one URL per product and clean domain redirects. No action needed.
- A consultant sold "canonical optimization" without showing a duplicate URL list. Ask for evidence.
